The Tobolsk Kremlin is the only stone Kremlin in Siberia. Picturesquely located on the Trinity Cape of Alafeevskaya Mountain, it will be remembered by ancient temples, gates, defensive walls and towers. You will decipher the features of Siberian architecture, visit the St. Sophia-Assumption Cathedral, see the cathedral bell tower and overcome 203 steps of the Pryamsky Vzvoz.
Gostiny Dvor, Prison Castle and more
You will consider the Gostiny Dvor, where several centuries ago there was an active merchant trade. You will reveal the secrets of the Prison Castle and its famous prisoners, hear the legend of the golden angel of Siberia and find out who is called the local Leonardo da Vinci. And we will also tell you how the Uglich bell ended up in Tobolsk and how our city is connected with the composer Alyabyev, the architect Nikitin and the chemist Mendeleev.
