One road leads from Murmansk to Teriberka: it will give you endless tundra landscapes with rocky hills, and I will not let you get bored on the way. I will tell you about the history of my native Murmansk, about the occupations and character of local residents. About the geography of the Kola Peninsula, about the plants of the harsh land and about who lives at the bottom of the ocean - the Arctic. And of course, you will discover the fate of Teriberka, once an actively developing village of fishermen, which almost died, but received a second birth.
Non-trivial route along the shores of the North
Teriberka has already become a favorite of tourists, but you will be able to see these places, as you expect them - secluded, abandoned and endlessly atmospheric. You are waiting for well-known locations, and those where travelers are rarely brought.
- "The Graveyard of Ships" and the skeleton from "Leviathan": you will consider the ships destroyed by the waves, and you will be imbued with the gloomy aesthetics of Teriberka. In the village, more than once pay attention to the neighborhood of residential buildings with abandoned ones, which become art objects.
- A waterfall and a dragon egg beach, where the air and beauty of the North fill you to the brim. You'll have time to enjoy the moment and take photos. We'll also take a look at another impressive beach, Rocky.
- A weather station and a surprise place. We'll talk about life in Teriberka again, and then we'll go to a bay that will surprise you.
- Deer, husky and a brewery. You'll feed and pet adorable animals, and treat yourself to homemade wine and northern berry jams. Try local beer, which is not sold even in Murmansk.
