Travel to aniva lighthouse in a mini-group
Ready to go to the ends of the earth? In a group of up to 9 people, we will get to Cape Aniva - where one of the most inaccessible lighthouses in Russia rises. You will admire the nature of Sakhalin from the side of a motor boat, meet charming seals and sea lions. Disembark to the lighthouse and conquer the top of its tower. And on the way back you will relax and swim in the Marble Bay.
What awaits you
The road is from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk. On the way, I'll talk about the life of Sakhalin residents, about the local culture and nature, about the history of the island and how its life has changed in recent years. We will look at the spawning of Pacific salmon, and then we will get to the place of discharge - the village of Novikovo.
The road on the water on a comfortable motorboat will take about 2 hours: we will be met by curious seals (I know secret places where they like to warm their in the sun), there is also a high probability of seeing sea lions (sea lions) and even killer whales.
The legendary Aniva. That's the headliner of our trip, a textured stone lighthouse built by the Japanese back in 1939. I'll guess the time of the trip so as not to get here during rush hour, when Aniva is flooded with tourists. We will calmly disembark at an abandoned lighthouse, climb to the very top of its tower and, of course, take stunning photos from all sorts of angles.
Landing in Marble Bay. Did you think the adventure is over?:) On the way back, we will land in the wild Marble Bay: we will have about an hour to have a snack, swim in the sea, which warms up well here, or just enjoy the views.
Organizational details
- From Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk we go to the village of Novikovo for about 2 hours, then we sail by boat for 1.5-2 hours one way. Transfer is included in the price of the tour.
- On the boat "Poseidon" there are vests and raincoats, the ship is equipped with seats and a powerful 4-stroke engine
- Do not forget to take a snack with you for the whole day, it will also be possible to have a snack in the village of Novikovo before going to sea.
- In case of strong waves on the water and bad weather, the excursion can be postponed, canceled or replaced by agreement with you for a trip to Cape Giant and Tikhaya Bay
