Underworld of chatyr-dag

Many have heard, seen and even visited Chatyr-Dag, one of the most famous mountain ranges of Crimea. But not everyone studied it from the inside. I invite you to go on an underground journey to the lower plateau and visit several wild, unequipped caves and grottoes. You will consider ancient formations, hear ancient legends and discover textured places.

What awaits you

🔦 Speleological adventure
The journey will begin near the Angara Pass. After passing a short section of the forest, you will come to the picturesque Red Trail, which will lead to the plateau, where the caves are compactly located. You will visit Gugerjin-Khosar, thousand-headed and Cold caves, as well as hunting and Uzun-Koba grottoes.

⛰ Gugerjin-Khosar will meet a gaping 18-meter well with picturesquely muddy walls. To visit this cave, you will need special speleological equipment, which I will give, teach you how to use and give the necessary instructions. All actions will be safe - for this we will organize rope insurance. After overcoming the vertical section, you will open small but beautiful halls with swelling formations - stalactites and stalagmites. We will also get to the surface with  Equipment.

⛰ Next in the program are the horizontal caves of the Thousand-Headed and The Cold. Here you will only need helmets with lanterns, but these caves are interesting! The Thousand-Headed Cave is a story and a dramatic legend, and the Cold Cave is a huge hall and a beautiful entrance-portal. Along the way, you will visit the grottoes, the ruins of the first mountain shelter in Russia. In addition, I will show the entrance hole of the vertical cave Bottomless Well. This cave will also not leave you indifferent.

We will complete the route in the same place where we started: at the Sosnovka public transport stop, which is not far from the Angarsk Pass.
