From the depths of the karadakh gorge to panoramas in the troll's language

What awaits you

From Makhachkala, we will go to the village of Goor; we will pass through the Gimrinsky automobile tunnel, the longest in Russia, we will find ourselves at the confluence of three rivers and see where the Sulak canyon begins. And we will also visit the Irganai and Gotsatlinsky reservoirs, impressive in the bright color of the water.
Also in the program:

• The Daton temple (6th century) is the only surviving Christian temple on the territory of Dagestan and another picturesque location on the route.
• Karadakh Gorge - let's walk along the bottom of this gorge, created by the work of a painstaking river. Its walls almost close overhead, so there is always twilight.
• The language of the troll is an Instagram point where it is not so easy to get to. From a height of 1700 meters, you will admire the dizzying views and take unusual pictures.
• The village of Goor – you will see its famous defensive towers of the 14th century and find out why this village withstood long sieges
• Old Kahib is an atmospheric place, one of the ghost villages that are often found in Dagestan.

• The tour will be conducted for you by a certified guide on a Japanese comfort-class minivan with all-wheel drive
• The route is flexible and can be adjusted according to your wishes
• The tour can be started from Makhachkala, Kaspiysk, Izberbash, Derbent
• The road to the village of Goor takes 2.5-3 hours, but along the way we will make a lot of stops. A walk along the Karadakh gorge will take 20-30 minutes in one direction.
• In rainy weather in the mountains, the excursion may be canceled or postponed: in heavy rain, the passage to the Karadakh Gorge is closed

• Lunch - 300-600 rubles / person; unfortunately, in the mountains of Dagestan there are no comfortable restaurants and service "like in Turkey", but there is cordiality and hospitality
