Saona island and the city of artists
This dream excursion will give you the perfect day in the Dominican Republic! In a group of up to 26 people on a speedboat, you will go to the paradise island of Saona and spend 4 hours on its best beach. And you will walk through the streets of the city of Artists, see how the Caribbean Sea meets the Atlantic, and with a glass of sparkling wine in your hand watch the starfish in the Blue Lagoon.
What awaits you
City of Artists. From Punta Cana early in the morning we leave on a comfortable bus. First of all, we will visit the famous village of Altos de Chavon: during a 40-minute stop you will stroll through the streets in the medieval style, learn about the city of Artists and take colorful photos.
From the port of Bayahibe on a comfortable high-speed boat, we will head to the best beach of the island with all the necessary infrastructure (good access to the water, shower, toilet, medical center, all inclusive system). You will have a whole 4 hours to enjoy a beach holiday and swimming in the Caribbean Sea.
Lunch. Also on Saona Island, we organize a buffet with Dominican cuisine, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Starfish in the Blue Lagoon. On the way back from the boat you will see mangroves and the Catuano Strait, where the Caribbean Sea meets the Atlantic. And then we will stop at the Blue Lagoon, a favorite habitat of starfish. Here you will find a buffet with fruits and champagne, as well as free time for recreation and photo shoots.
Return to the port of Bayahibe, from where you will take a bus back to Punta Cana, and before that you can stop by shopping in the souvenir shop.
Excursion program
7:00 – check-out from the hotel
9:00 – visit to the city of Artists. Free time — 40 minutes.
10:30 – arrival at bayahibe port, high-speed boat exit to the Caribbean Sea
11:00 – arrival at the best beach of Saona Island, 4 hours of free time
12:15 – lunch
15.00 – departure by boat on the way
back
15:30 – stop in the Blue Lagoon, buffet table with fruits and champagne
17:00 – return to the port, departure by bus to Punta Cana
18:30 – approximate return to the hotel

- The tour takes place in a group of up to 26 people on an air-conditioned bus, as well as on a comfortable high-speed boat with a canopy and a mini-bar. Transport is disinfected daily before the start of the tour.
