On a loaf - to the north of olkhon!

The northern part of the island is a real place of power: let go of all worries, feel the greatness of nature and enjoy the trip with us! You will find impressive at any time of the year landscapes of the island, observation platforms on the capes, stories about local culture and romantic legends.

What awaits you

On the trip we will go on the most famous transport of the island - a car of the UAZ brand, or in another way on a "loaf". You are waiting for 7 stunning locations:

  • The islands of Kharantsy, Edor and Modoto - you will learn how their names are deciphered, in clear weather you will see the "Face of Baikal", and in winter you can look into the cave grottoes.
  • The Peschanoye tract - in the last century there was a branch of the GULAG, since that time there have been wooden decks and a crumbling old pier. In the summer, we will visit a souvenir shop and order hot tea on Baikal herbs.
  • Sagan-Khushun, aka the Cape of the Three Brothers - from here you will discover one of the most beautiful panoramas of the lake.
  • Cape Khoboy is the northern point of Olkhon Island, a place covered with legends. You will enjoy a walk and take great pictures, and I will arrange a snack for you.
  • Shunte, or The Cape of Love: Let go of superfluous thoughts to feel the freedom and boundless natural power here.
  • Dashi Namdakov's sculpture "Guardian of Baikal": I will tell you what shamanic rites are associated with it.
  • Pad Uzuri is a small village where only 9 people live. Here you can see a weather station and understand how everyday life goes in such a village.
