Eco-trip to the kerzhensky reserve
Our region is famous not only for ancient monuments, but also for its amazing nature. The Center for Ecological Travel is the Kerzhensky Biosphere Reserve. It is inhabited by rare species of birds, animals and plants: black stork, snake-eater, osprey, peregrine falcon, Russian muskrat, red pollenhead, neottianthe klobuchkovaya. Ready to meet them?

Floodplain of Kerzhenets
The natural complexes of the Floodplain of Kerzhenets are so diverse that it would be worthwhile to conduct biology lessons here! Following the eco-trail, you will get acquainted with the main species of local trees and see unusual plants. You will hear interesting facts about the inhabitants of Kerzhenets and floodplain lakes, learn about the role of the reserve in the conservation and restoration of rare species, and also see the settlement of beavers.
Cherry Swamp
A separate chapter of our excursion is occupied by swamps. There are many of them here, but they are not the same! You will learn how one type of swamp differs from another, how they are important for nature and which swamp plants are worth paying attention to.
