Walk from the hillfort to the High
We will start with the ancient settlement, where a wooden fortress used to stand. You will learn about Prince Vladimir the Brave and Voivode Mikhail Volkonsky. You will visit the place where the earthly path of the boyar Morozova ended, and you will understand why Borovsk is called the city of cosmic dreams.
On the Market Square we will see the Annunciation Cathedral, which stores many shrines. Walking along the merchant's Assumption Street, we will not miss the "Lace" house, which is considered the most beautiful in the city, as well as the estate where Napoleon stayed.
The walk will end on Vysokoe. Here you will get acquainted with the wooden Church of the Intercession, built in the 17th century without a single nail. You will admire the views of Borovsk from the observation platforms, as well as learn about its patron, St. Paphnutius, and about its "blessed curse", which has protected the city for many centuries.

"Borovsky Banksy" is the name of a talented pensioner who painted the whole city with his paintings. Our route is built in such a way as not to miss the main works of the artist. You will see "Globus of Borovsk", "In the Name of Russia", "Old Town", "Well Done Our Cucumber!", "Beautiful Turn!" and many other frescoes.

If you are by car, then we can get to Vysokoe (or walk 15-20 minutes). Or you can finish the tour in the area of Uspenskaya Street: in this case you will see all of the above objects, except for the Intercession Church with its observation rooms.
