All-all about Novocherkassk in 5 hours
I build a walk in the format of "journey through the eras" – from the first places of the founding of the city to the present.
For a while, we will become "witnesses" to the development of Novocherkassk, absorbing the diversity of architecture and contemplating monuments of different centuries.
Let's start with a rise to a height of almost 80 meters, to the bell tower of the cathedral, to see the "Second Sun of the Don" up close, admire the city from above and understand how it is arranged. Next in our list:

• Patriarchal Ascension Military All-Cossack Cathedral, the second largest cathedral in Russia
• monuments to Don Ataman Yermak Timofeevich and Ataman Platov
• two triumphal arches built in honor of the Victory in the War of 1812
• post-Yamskaya station, where Griboyedov, Pushkin, Lermontov, Glinka, Tolstoy, Bestuzhev and many other historical figures stopped and rested on the way to the Caucasus
