In the company of a professional guide-historian and driver, you will explore one of the most characteristic cities of Egypt in a day. We can spend the whole day in the ancient catacombs or cover as many attractions as possible – it all depends on your interests and tastes! What can be included in the excursion program:

• Fort Kite Bay, built on the remains of the Lighthouse of Alexandria.
• The catacombs of Kom el-Shuqafa are the hallmark of the city. You will pass through the tunnels of the ancient necropolis, looking at the surviving tombs, columns and sarcophagi.
• Abu'l-Abbas al-Mursi is the most beautiful mosque in Alexandria. You will learn in whose honor it was built and what is the peculiarity of its architecture.
• The Roman amphitheater is the only ancient Roman footprint discovered in Alexandria.
• The Alexandrina Library is a modern cultural project reminiscent of the lost Library of Alexandria.
• Pompey's Column is a monolith of red granite, which is often compared to a ship's mast.
• The Royal Palace of Montaza: let's walk along the paths of its picturesque park, look into the elegant chambers and talk about the history of the building.
• Alexandria National Museum, where you will get acquainted with the artifacts of Ancient and modern Egypt – from the era of the pharaohs to the Christian and Muslim eras.

On average, we will be able to visit 4-5 locations from the list per day: you can have time to do more or less, depending on how much time you spend at each attraction.

How is the tour

• You will be picked up from any Alexandria hotel, airport or seaport and brought back after the tour
• The tour will be conducted for you by a professional Russian-speaking guide from our team
• For 1-2 people, the tour is conducted on a comfortable car. For more people - on a minibus equipped with air conditioning and everything necessary. For safety reasons, the driver controls the transport so that the guide is not distracted by the road.
